Now published: Wales and the British overseas empire: interactions and influences, 1650-1830, edited by Huw Bowen. This volume carries an essay by Glamorgan historian Chris Evans on 'Wales, Munster and the English South West: contrasting articulations with the Atlantic world’.
Evans looks at the ways in which these three neighbouring peninsulas on Britain’s western edge contributed to the imperial push out into the Atlantic world in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
Wales and the British overseas empire: interactions and influences, 1650-1830 is published by Manchester University Press.
